Almost 30% of Bowen’s Construction is conducted in a Design-Build or EPC arrangment. In these cases, Bowen would partner with a Design Engineer to complete the detailed design, working collaboratively to build constructibility and safety into the design. Bowen regularly works with many excellent engineering firms to complete this work.

Over Bowen’s history we have successfully completed almost 200 projects with a contract value of $1.2 Billion. Bowen can work in multiple contracting arrangments:

The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) is the nation’s largest association dedicated to alternative procurement, providing resources and best practices to owners, contractors and engineers.

Bowen has 10 employees that are DBIA Certified Providers of Design-Build Services. The team regularly presents projects, case studies, and best practices at the National DBIA Conference.
